Once you are both interested, photos are shared. If you choose to connect, each person authorizes the one-time fee through Stripe. Both payments must complete before your private conversation opens.
You make your own plans. Activities and reservations are separate. An introduction creates an opportunity, not a guaranteed friendship.
Payment and refund details
Your bank may show a temporary card hold. If the conversation cannot open, holds are canceled and any completed payment is refunded. If the other person becomes unavailable or does not respond before a first meeting, request a review within 14 days. We refund your fee if the introduction could not reasonably proceed.

Who is Boca Society for?
Adults 18 and older seeking platonic friendship in Boca Raton and nearby communities. Whether you are studying, working, retired, new to the area, or simply ready to meet more people, your interests and preferences guide the introductions. No club membership is needed.
Is this a dating service or a social club?
Boca Society helps adults meet for platonic friendship through private individual introductions and optional small-group get-togethers. It is not a dating service. For individual introductions, you decide together what you would enjoy doing.
What are Society Get-Togethers?
Society Get-Togethers are small-group introductions around dining, movies, coffee, and other shared activities. Add your group interests, preferences, and availability in your profile so we can consider you for a suitable gathering.
Each plan depends on compatible people and availability. You choose which invitations to accept, with expected activity costs explained beforehand. Society arranges the introduction and plan; a Society host does not attend. Your preferences stay private to you and staff.
What will a proposed friend see?
The first preview includes your first name, age, broad area, short biography, and why the introduction may be a good fit. Your photo becomes visible only when both people express interest, before payment. Your full questionnaire, birth date, ZIP, family details, and private requirements are not shared.
Can I choose ages, genders, and distance?
Yes. Your questionnaire includes preferred ages and genders, distance, interests, and availability. You can distinguish flexible preferences from firm requirements. These are considered for both people before an introduction is suggested.
How long will I wait?
We aim to send an update within two business days of receiving your questionnaire. A suitable introduction may take days, weeks, or longer, depending on who is available and whether your preferences align. There is no charge while you wait, and an introduction is not guaranteed.
What if an introduction does not feel right?
You can decline privately before the introduction opens. Expressing interest does not commit you to payment or a meeting. If an introduction that has opened cannot reasonably proceed, you can request a review under our payment and refund terms.
What does a profile review include?
Boca Society reviews the questionnaire, photo, and practical preferences before proposing an introduction. Reviews are not identity verification or background checks. For your first meeting, choose a public place where you feel comfortable. Read our community commitments.
